Hello, I'm Kimber. For the past five years, I’ve been unable to work due to chronic migraines and severe, treatment-resistant Major Depressive Disorder. For the last three of those years, I’ve been in rigorous, ongoing treatment, doing everything I can to regain stability and health. Because of this long stretch of illness and treatment, I don’t have savings to fall back on.
Recently, my relationship ended, and I now need to relocate across the country to Illinois to start the next chapter of my life. This move isn’t optional—it’s necessary—but the financial reality is overwhelming.
I’m asking for help to cover the basic costs of making this move safely and responsibly. Specifically, I need assistance with:
My final two months of rent
Moving expenses
A moving trailer
Paying someone to drive me and my belongings
I’ll be making this move with my cat, Randy, who has been my constant companion through a very hard year.
Asking for help is difficult, but it’s the only way forward right now. Any contribution, share, or kind thought truly helps more than I can say. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your consideration.
