Many of you offered to help with flood relief for me, so I started this GoFundMe page. Thank you so much for your generosity and outpouring of concern. I am applying to FEMA for relief and, if that comes through, I intend to repay everyone who donates, but I don't know when or if that money will come in, so thank you for the quick help to ease these first few steps of after-flood things that have to happen now.

Tropical Storm Ida flooded my basement apartment. I had over 3 feet of water fill my apartment in 45 minutes. I am now removing debris, salvaging what I can, will replace some essentials and may need to move. Your donation will go to helping me

• to buy food for volunteers who are helping with debris removal and salvaging 
• purchase things for the clean-up like floor fans and many sealable bins for items that were above the water line
• pay for salvage costs, such as dry cleaning and laundry
• replace essentials like shoes & furniture
• pay for dumpster and labor if my landlord doesn't cover everything
• pay for possible moving costs
• replace Technical Artisans Collective gear if we return to teaching (we've been on hiatus during the pandemic)
