Last year in November, Our mother contracted Covid-19. She recovered but was left with severe scarring of the lungs and a new diagnosis of COPD. On Sunday, November 14th we admitted her back into the ICU, and four days later we lost her. We have no words. None that can describe what this has been like. This fundraiser is for one thing and one thing only: to honor her wishes. To be buried next to my father in a casket. The costs to honor her wishes are high. And so we come to you, asking for anything that can be spared so we may bury her with respect and grieve in peace, unburdened by things like money.
