I want to share with you some news we just received last week. Kim's breast cancer has metastasized to her spine, liver, bones and throughout her body. As most of you know, she was diagnosed 3 years ago with the BRCA gene and had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.

The doctor has initiated an immediate and aggressive plan for treatment and she has a biopsy on Dec. 27th, a brain scan on Jan. 1st, and a liver scan scheduled for Jan. 4th at Christ Hospital.  Kim has already undergone blood work and shots to strengthen her bones.  She is under the care of oncologist, Dr. Robert Cody who will  be treating her with Chemo shots and medication, once they do the biopsies to get more conclusive information on the type of cancer.

We are trying to navigate the insurance, but we already are experiencing  expenses not covered by insurance and the financial obstacles that lie ahead pose additional stress for our future.

If we, as a family, ever needed to lean on family and friends for prayers and financial support, now would be the time. We ask that you help us spread the word and meet our current goal to cover medical bills and medications.
