Help Kim, Scott, and Kara in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support in this challenging time for Kim, Scott, and their precious baby girl, Kara. Three weeks ago, Kara was admitted to the hospital, where their worst fears were confirmed—on Friday, August 16th, doctors discovered a tumor on her brain stem.
Kara was quickly transferred by ambulance to UW Children's Hospital in Madison, WI, where she underwent a lengthy and delicate surgery on Sunday. The skilled medical team worked tirelessly to remove as much of the tumor as possible to better understand what they are dealing with. Now, Kim and Scott are anxiously awaiting the test results and the development of a treatment plan.
As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll of this situation is immense. Kim and Scott have been by Kara’s side every moment, unable to think of anything else but her well-being. They are facing not only the fear and uncertainty of what lies ahead but also the growing costs of treatment, transportation, housing, and food.
We are hoping to raise funds to ease the financial burden on this wonderful family, allowing them to focus all their energy on caring for each other and their brave little girl.
Your donations will go directly toward helping them with transportation to and from the hospital, temporary housing so they can stay close to Kara, treatments and daily necessities.
No donation is too small, and every bit of support helps. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your contribution will make a difference in Kim, Scott, and Kara’s lives during this incredibly tough time.
Please join us in lifting this family up with love, prayers, and financial support. Together, we can help Kim and Scott focus on what matters most—Kara’s healing and recovery.
Love,
