Kim was diagnosed with liver cancer and liver failure on July 21st, 2020 with the only option of survival being a liver transplant. She is currently on the liver transplant list at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She is a loving mother of 3 children (Amber, Kayla and Seth) and proud Mimi of her 3 grandsons (Jackson, Saiben and Kolter). She has not been able to work since July 20th, 2020. She has been hospitalized numerous times since being diagnosed. With her health condition and per her doctor’s orders she is unable to stay by herself with her deteriorating health. Due to these circumstances her oldest daughter, Amber comes to stay with her every day while her husband, Chuck can still be able to work. Due to her health condition she is currently going to Nashville weekly for outpatient testing and procedures due to her liver failure. Home Health is now coming weekly as well as physical therapy twice a week to try to build her strength up for the transplant as she is unable to stand/walk for long distances. So far her medical bills have surpassed over $500,000. With this being said, a few of Kim and Chuck’s closest friends have started this page to help alleviate some financial burden for them.
