Hi, my names Jeff and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Kim Steed. Kim went to the emergency room Tuesday evening with severe stomach pain. Turns out she had two blockages in part of her intestine. She’s spent the past two days laying in the hospital with a tube going in her nose down to her stomach, slowly sucking out her stomach contents. Tomorrow she’ll undergo a 5 hour colon resectioning surgery. She’ll be at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for the next seven days. After the surgery she won’t be able to work for six weeks. She has insurance but I’m sure she’ll have to pay quite a bit out of pocket, and she’s really not prepared to take six weeks off work unpaid. Anyone that even casually knows Kim knows that she would bend over backward to help a stranger. If you have a few bucks to spare and can help Kim out, I’m sure she’ll be extremely grateful. Thanks
