I suffer from severe anxiety, depression, and childhood PTSD. For years, I managed to compartmentalize and push through, maintaining a successful career as a mid-level manager. But everything changed suddenly—my cognitive abilities diminished, I couldn't focus or concentrate, and daily panic attacks made it impossible to leave the house. My life turned upside-down, and I went out on Disability to work on my mental health. I was receiving LTD through my work for six months when it stopped without warning in November 2025. At 58 years old, I believed the disability insurance would support me while I finally addressed my trauma. Despite seeing a trauma therapist three times a week and a psychiatrist monthly, my claim was closed, citing I wasn't disabled. I never missed an appointment, but I lost everything. Since January, I've been homeless, living in my vehicle, completely alone with no family or friends nearby. My income is gone, and I've used the last of my savings. I learned quickly that if you do not have children, there is not much assistance available through conventional charities.

The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover urgent vehicle repairs, food, toiletries, and medications. I also need to pay my storage unit, which holds my late husband's ashes and the last few irreplaceable things I have left in this world. I am appealing the LTD denial and have filed for SSDI, but I need help to get through until I have outcomes for these.
