Hi everyone,

I recently underwent major surgery for a kidney transplant, and while I am beyond grateful to be on the road to recovery, the journey hasn’t been easy. My doctors have instructed me to take at least three months off from work to heal properly. Unfortunately, during this time I will have no income coming in.

I never applied for disability, and since I worked consistently and was in the middle of starting my own business, I do not have FMLA or any other benefits to cover me while I’m out. That means for the next three months, I won’t have any financial support to help with my basic living expenses and bills.

This is why I’m asking for help. Even the smallest donation will go a long way in helping me keep up with rent, utilities, and other essentials while I focus on healing and regaining my strength.
