Help Kim Recover After Hurricanes Helene & Milton

My name is Kim. I've always tried to be fiercely independent and absolutely hate having to ask for help. It has been a very rough few years for me. 2022, I fell and broke both of my feet and was unable to work for 6 months. With no income, I drained my savings. 2023, I lost my vehicle when I was T-boned. Trying to recoup from these losses has set me back financially. Every time I try to get a foothold, it's been a slippery slope amidst a raging storm. Last year, my HOA's attorneys had went after me and the attorney I retained left me in an even worst situation, with HOA's attorneys demanding nearly 10x what was owed. This recently forced me into bankruptcy.

These past 2 back to back hurricanes (Helene and Milton) have set me back even more financially, with infrastructure being down for weeks and not being able to work for 2.5 weeks. I've had to pay for repairs and damages while waiting to appeal for claims for damages to my home. Between the legal and financial hardships, I have not been able to get a stable foothold. I'm hoping and desperate for some reprieve while I try to regain my footing and hold on to everything I've worked so relentlessly hard to maintain.
