Update: Kim has started the process of grief counseling and therapy. It’s going to be a long uphill ride. Your support has meant so much to us and has already eased our minds a bit. Due to the physical proximity of the tragedy to their current apartment we are trying to find something temporary while we really burrow into the healing process. We are so close to our goal and we are so grateful for this community. Please help us finish this goal so we can really get Kim out of here.

Hey y’all, my name is Meg. Our community has suffered a great loss. I wish I could hug all of you through the phone. Our friend Kim has suffered a very traumatizing experience losing their best friend, mentor, neighbor, and their person. I am raising money to help pay for immediate medical bills and to help cover relocation fees to get them into a new apartment or at least an air bnb while we work with a realtor to find them a new living situation.
