I am raising funds to help ease the financial burden that my mother, Kim Minix, is enduring during her battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

A little over a year ago, Kim decided to retire and spend more time with her family. A few months after retiring, she started to fall ill. After months of doctor's appointments and tests, it was discovered at the end of December 2024 that she has masses in her right lung. After more tests, Kim was diagnosed with carcinoma with neuroendocrine features. She has masses in her right lung, bronchial lymph nodes, liver, and brain.

Recently, the masses have doubled, and she was hospitalized for 4 days to get started on chemotherapy. She will have several more rounds every month to shrink the masses.

Kim is a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. We are doing this fundraiser in hopes it will ease some stress on Kim and allow her to focus more on enjoying the good days and healing her body. Any donations are greatly appreciated!
