Help Kim Lowe's Family Through This Tragic Loss

Hi, my name is Shane Flug, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the family of my friend, Kim Lowe, who passed away unexpectedly and far too soon.

Kim was a kind, loving, and selfless person who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was a devoted mother to her 8-year-old daughter, who was her whole world, and a beloved daughter herself. Her sudden loss has left a deep void — especially for her young child and for Kim’s mother, who is absolutely devastated by the loss of her daughter.

Many of you may know Kim from visiting the Country Store in Burlington, where she welcomed every customer with warmth, kindness, and her beautiful smile. Whether you stopped in regularly or just once, chances are Kim made you feel seen and appreciated — it’s simply who she was.

In the wake of this tragedy, Kim’s family is facing not only overwhelming grief but also the unexpected financial burden that comes with such a heartbreaking loss. This fundraiser is to help ease that burden — to assist with funeral and memorial expenses, provide immediate support for her daughter, and offer her family some relief as they begin the difficult journey of healing.
