Help Kim Kelly Rebuild After Dealing With a Natural Disaster

My name is Gabe and I’m trying to help a great friend of mine out.

It’s fitting that I first met Kim Kelly at a rock concert. It was the mid-80s and we were both teenagers with a voracious love of music. Kim’s glowing smile, her warm and friendly demeanor, and her kindness all endeared me to her, and she hasn’t lost any of those incredible qualities over the years.

Kim and I, along with her wonderful sister and a tight-knit group of friends, have embarked on countless road trips all over the country to see rock shows. We’ve celebrated dozens of birthdays, holidays, and special occasions in the nearly 40 years since we’ve known each other.

Throughout good times, bad times, tragedies, and life-changing events, Kim has always had a smile and a kind word for anyone in need and has gone out of her way to ensure that total strangers were always treated with the same amount of dignity and respect as her best friends and family members were.

Kim suffered a devastating blow when Hurricane Helene swept through her home and wreaked irreparable damage throughout it. All of her belongings and possessions were destroyed by the intense flooding and deemed her house uninhabitable.

Kim is now trying to rebuild her life and is in search of a new place to live. The shock and horror of this event have left her rattled and scared, but somehow, even through this horrible occurrence, she still seems to find a way to smile that distinctive smile so many of us know and recognize so well.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Kim find a new place to live, to help her with the mountains of expenses she’s incurred due to natural disaster, and to help her start a new chapter of her life.

If Kim has ever sprung for concert tickets for you, or bought you a drink, or treated you to dinner, I’m sure she did so out of the kindness and generosity she naturally possesses.
