My name is Kim Sherwood, and I am disabled and in my 70s. Despite living on a small disability income, I have always tried to do one act of kindness each day. When I can, I take a bit of cash and give it to someone in need, and I also gather food to share with others through a friend who helps distribute it. Helping others has always brought me joy and purpose, even when my own resources are limited.
Recently, I took a bad fall and suffered several injuries, including broken ribs, a broken arm, and a broken eye socket. This has made it very difficult for me to get by on my own, and I am unable to continue my daily acts of kindness while I recover. I am reaching out for help to cover my basic needs and living expenses for the next three or four weeks, until I am well enough to get back on my feet and continue supporting others in my community.
If you are able to help, I would be deeply grateful for your support. If you are unable to donate, I would appreciate your prayers and good wishes as I heal. Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you.
