My name is Heather, and I am reaching out for help to support my daughter, Kim. Kim is currently living in a group home in Summit County, but I know in my heart that this is not where she belongs. She deserves a chance at a happier and better life, surrounded by love and the right support. My journey to help Kim has been filled with challenges, especially when it comes to finding an indigent guardianship lawyer who can advocate for her needs. Despite searching throughout Summit County, I have not been able to find the legal help she needs. As someone living with a disability and relying on a fixed income, I simply do not have the resources saved to pay for a lawyer on my own. My love for Kim is what drives me every day to keep fighting for her, no matter how difficult the path may be.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward legal fees, giving Kim the opportunity to move to a better situation and improve her quality of life.
