Kim is a young woman who has faced many of life’s challenges, yet continues to persevere with strength and grace. Recently, she was involved in a car accident that left her without a vehicle. Wanting to help, I was able to gift her a car and have it shipped all the way from Colorado. Unfortunately, when the car arrived in Maryland, we learned it needed significant repairs to pass inspection. As a single parent working as much as she can at Walmart, Kim can only afford half of the repair costs. The shop is holding her car until the full amount is paid, leaving her without her only means of transportation.

Having her car fixed would mean everything to Kim and her family. It would allow her to get to and from work, pick up her niece whom she cares for, and manage the daily responsibilities that come with being a devoted caregiver. Reliable transportation is essential for her to support her family and continue being the incredible person she is.

This girl deserves the world. She has been a shining light in my life and her smile is the best you’ve ever seen. She works so hard and asks for nothing. She does not know I’m doing this, but I know she wouldn’t ask for help on her own. If you can find it in your heart to support Kim, your kindness will make a real difference in her life.
