Help Kim & Family Fight stage 4 Rectal Cancer
Hello, My name is Deanna, Im here today fundraising for my sister in law who has suddenly been diagnosed with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer at 34 years old. Kimberly had complained to her doctors multiple times for years of stomach pains and they never found anything definitive. Until, Feb 2021 when she was rushed to the hospital for unbearable pains in her stomach.
This diagnosis has been a shock for Kim, her family and friends. Yet, Kim has gone into this new diagnosis full force with so much bravery and courage to fight! Kim has always been a fighter. I have known Kim for 20 years and have always admired her resilience. Kim was challenged with loosing her mother from heart disease when she was 13 years old. Kim is now faced with the same fear her mother faced. Kim is an amazing mother to my precious nieces Adriaunna, and Hayleigh who are 17, and 12 and some of the toughest girls I know.
Now Kim needs our help!! Kimberly has already received 30 rounds of radiations and now on to complete 30 rounds of Chemo. Our latest news is that the radiation has reduced the size of the tumor a little, however the cancer has deteriorated her hip, so she is now scheduled for surgery at Boston Medical.
Kim and my brother Matt have never been the people to ask for help or to worry other people about their problems. They never have had a whole lot of material assets or monetary status but always made the most of what they had. They believe in family and helping others!! Matt and Kim for the past few years have been living and taking care of their sick friend who did not have the strength to maintain his home. So they made a deal they would live with him and care for the residence. Recently, their dear friend passed away and the home they were all living in was suddenly sold and they were asked to be out of the residence ASAP. Already struggling with the expenses of chemo and radiation and emergency surgery, they are now faced with finding new housing!!
Kim will need continuous medical treatments to fight this disease. Today, I'm here to try to ease the burden a bit by helping her with some of the medical / relocation costs her and her family will endure during this battle for her life. Please consider donating and spreading the word. Any amount helps. I love you Kim and Family!!❤️ #KimberlySTRONG
