Hi, my name is Tanya, and I’m coming to you with a heart that feels both heavy and hopeful as I ask for support for my sister, Kim.

Not long ago, our lives changed in an instant. Kim was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive and life-altering cancer. The news hit our family like a wave we never saw coming.

Kim is so much more than a diagnosis. She is a devoted mom, a loving daughter, an incredible sister, and the kind of friend who shows up no matter what. She has spent her life caring for others, lifting people up, and putting love into everything she does. Watching someone so strong and selfless face something this overwhelming is heartbreaking beyond words.

Since her diagnosis, Kim has been thrown into a grueling battle—currently in the hospital with no expected release date and aggressive chemotherapy treatments. She is fighting with everything she has, even on the days when she feels exhausted and afraid. Through it all, she continues to show a strength that inspires everyone around her.

But alongside this fight comes a burden no family is ever truly prepared for—the financial strain. The medical bills, treatments, and medications are piling up faster than we can manage, adding stress to an already unimaginable situation.
