Help Kim and Bryan recover from home burning down

Hi Everyone, if you know my sister Kim and my brother in law Bryan they aren’t the type to ask for help. In fact it took them quite a bit of convincing for them to allow us to put this request for donations up for them.

Yesterday was a horrible day for them. There was a fire at their home while they were away at work and it was a complete loss. All of their belongings were gone in an instant. But that’s not the worst part, their beloved dog Abigail, and their cat Coonie didn’t make it out of the house.

As long as I’ve known Kim her pet dogs have been her life. Every time she visits our home she even has a special bond with our dog Sonny like nobody else, he can’t stand when she leaves but she always has to go because she knows Abigail misses her. I can only imagine the loss she’s feeling right now. The first thing she said to me this morning “I want to wake up from this”

Now we all know that donations aren’t going to make the pain and feelings of loss go away, but Kim and Bryan are now going to be faced with many tough financial decisions, how to move forward from this disaster. Staying in hotels, needing all the normal everyday necessities, clothing, food, fire clean up, searching for a new home, all while maintaining employment, and paying their bills that won’t stop coming just because their home burned down.

I’m hoping friends/friends of friend/family/ relatives can all band together and show some support for Kim and Bryan in this time of need and help make their lives a little less stressful as they deal with this loss.
