My good friend, Kim, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer last year. Initially, she was told it was inoperable and underwent extensive chemotherapy with minimal results. However, after seeking a second opinion at Stanford, she received some incredible news: their pancreas specializing surgeon can perform a, possibly, life-saving surgery!

Unfortunately, her insurance doesn’t cover Stanford, and her medical bills have quickly reached six figures. Kim is a special education teacher, and despite all her challenges, she’s remained an amazing single mother to two wonderful young men, one of whom has special needs.

To help ease the financial burden Kim is facing, I’m raising funds to help cover her out-of-pocket costs.
