Hello,

my name is Johannes and 5 years ago I started the Kilimanjaro Rugby Club with my friend Hassan. Now, I have moved to a different place but Hassan is still running the Rugby Club and has expanded it to over 40 members, aged 14 to 20 years, for many of whom this is the only gateway into organized sports outside of school.

The club trains on a pitch belonging to the Tanzanian Police Academy, who charge a yearly fee of Tsh 1,000,000 which is approximately €370. As there is no member fee to accomodate for the many members from poor family backgrounds, our only source of funding are donations. Your support is much appreciated!

Any additional donations will be appreciated and put to use by paying for transport of club members that live far away so that they can come more regularly.
