November 21st 2021 my sweet girl Kila had a spinal stroke that caused her to lose function in her back legs and bladder. The vet described this type of stroke (called an FCE) as unfortunate “bad luck” as it can happen to any dog and something as simple as a walk can trigger it.

Overnight I had to adapt to having a dog that requires full time care since she can’t walk or feel her bladder anymore. Because of this I can’t work as much since I need to have someone watch her 24-7.

She will need at least 6 months of physio, plus chiropractic care to even have a chance at walking or having a functioning bladder again. A doggie wheelchair will give her the ability to go on walks again, however all these things come at a cost.

She is my best friend and I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to give my girl a chance at having a ‘normal’ life again. She’s the sweetest angel, and if you would like to support her recovery as well we greatly appreciate it.❤️
