My cat Kiki means the world to me. Recently, she stopped eating, and I knew something was wrong. I rushed her to the ER, where she was hospitalized for five days. During her stay, the veterinarians determined she needed a feeding tube placed in her esophagus to help her get the nutrition she needs. It was a scary and emotional time, but I am so grateful that Kiki is now home and on the road to recovery. She still has the feeding tube and will need it for a while as she heals, but I am hopeful that with the right care, she will be back to her happy, healthy self soon.
