Hello, I'm Kiki and I could use some help!

I recently returned to school to finish my undergrad degree (yay!) and on Sept 4th had a medically necessary surgery that forced me to miss classes and my partner, Jordan, to miss work to take care of me.

I lost my job this summer after my Grandma passed because I didn't have access to bereavement leave and got sick a bunch from the stress and grief. I was receiving SNAP benefits but was cut off once I was approved for unemployment benefits because it was determined that unemployment benefits put me $48 over the max income to qualify. Well, now I can't claim unemployment benefits because I'm not ready, willing, and able to work due to recovering from surgery, so I’m in a bit of a bind.

I’m trying to raise some funds to help cover bills and food during these few weeks while I’m completely without access to income. I can’t even sell stuff online right now because I can’t lift stuff :( I’m hoping to make up for the income lost while I don’t qualify for benefits, which is just over $700, but really any portion of that would be a huge help!

If you or anyone you know may be able to throw a couple bucks or a grocery/food delivery gift card my way, it would really help me to recover with a lot less stress so I can focus on healing and catching up on school work and Jordan doesn't have to rush back to work and take on extra shifts while I still need support.

It's been a hell of a year, and this latter half of it has been on the upswing, but we could use some help to keep things afloat. I know times are ROUGH out here for us all, but if anyone is in a position to spare even a few bucks, it would mean the world to us!
