As most of you know, I've been feeding my neighborhood cats ("the Kikis") for the past 4 years. Recently, my sweet baby Kiki - the one I've named the colony after - was sadly hit by a car, resulting in a broken bone and multiple fractures in his right arm. According to the vet, our only two options are surgery or amputation, and as an outdoor cat, rehabilitation after an amputation would be impossible. The vet is anticipating the surgery, which must be performed by a specialist, is going to be extremely costly.
Kiki is one of the first cats I started feeding in my complex, and has acted as a peacemaker amongst the other cats in the colony. He is gentle, kind, and affectionate, and continually captures the hearts of the neighborhood cat lovers and cats alike. I am asking for support with his medical expenses to get him back on his feet again, or rather, paws. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for helping me care for my baby.
UPDATE: Kiki underwent surgery on Thursday, March 20th, and it was very successful! He will be in intense recovery for the next 8 weeks, and should have full use of his arm soon. I am still paying off major surgery and vet costs, so anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for all of your generous donations!
