Hi everyone, my name is Mitchy, and I’m raising funds for my dog Kiki’s medical care.

Kiki was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2022 after suffering cluster seizures that landed her in the emergency room. Since then, she’s been on medication to help manage her seizures, and for a while, we thought it was under control. Unfortunately, this year she’s had four more seizures, one that required another emergency visit and the rest we were able to manage at home.

At her most recent vet visit, after her latest seizure, we were told that Kiki is showing signs that may indicate a brain tumor. She’s now being referred to a neurologist for advanced testing and treatment options. With these funds, we will be able to take her to a specialized hospital that can get her the care that she needs.

The CT scan alone is estimated at $5,000, and with additional blood work, vet visits, and diagnostics, her total cost for diagnosis is expected to exceed $10,000, and that doesn’t include any potential treatment that follows.

How the funds will be used:

All donations will go directly toward Kiki’s medical expenses, including her neurology consultation, CT scan, blood work, follow-up testing, and any medications or treatments her specialists recommend. Raising these funds will only get us through her diagnosis and some initial treatment, but it’s the first step in getting her the answers and care she desperately needs. If there are any remaining funds, they’ll go toward her ongoing care and seizure management.

Anyone who knows Kiki knows she’s a perfect angel girl. She’s not your typical chihuahua; she’s gentle, loving, and endlessly loyal. Kiki is only seven years old and still has so much life left to live and so many adventures ahead of her. She’s been by my side through every stage of life, always bringing comfort, laughter, and joy.

Kiki isn’t just a pet; she’s family. She’s a kind, joyful soul who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. She’s been part of so many meaningful moments, like my sister’s wedding, and has touched the hearts of everyone who’s met her.

Her best friend and brother, Kovu, is always by her side. They’re truly a dynamic duo, double trouble in the best way.

Kiki also has a sister, Momo, who she’s helped show that the world isn’t so scary and that everyone deserves love. And, now, Kiki has been a foster sibling helping so many rescue pups learn how to feel safe and loved again.

It breaks my heart to see her going through this, but I’m determined to give her the care she needs and deserves. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward her medical expenses and help Kiki continue her fight. Even just sharing this page means the world to us.
