Help Kiersten Get a New Work Laptop

Hi everyone! My name is Kiersten, I am a PhD candidate studying vertebrate paleontology. I am in need of a new laptop for both my research and my streaming outreach. My current laptop is barely 3 years old, but overheats and crashes and can no longer run programs like Illustrator and Photoshop, handle the thousands of photos I need to process, or handle the scientific programs I use and certainly not multiple programs at once which I need as a researcher. The laptop I need is high on storage, CPU, GPU, and I need 32 GB of RAM minimum all of which start at $2000. I need a laptop over a desktop for the portability as I move between my home, university office and museum office.
I actually have put my data processing and streaming on hold because I've been trying to buy a new laptop at Best Buy, but it's consistently out of stock there. However, the only reason I am limited to Best Buy is because I cannot afford the laptop outright and I have to use my Best Buy Credit Card. Any help from GFM will help me to purchase this laptop from other retailers and let me continue with my work and my science streaming.
I am genuinely grateful for everything anyone can give. I REALLY hate asking for help, but you know... I need it :(
