Hello everyone!

I am thrilled to share some life-changing news: I have been hand-picked by the faculty at Florida A&M University to participate in the 2026 Health Sciences Summer Clinical Experience in Seville, Spain! Selection for this program is a huge honor. It is awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to professional leadership. This June, I will be traveling abroad for a two-week immersive experience where I will shadow clinicians in international hospitals, study global healthcare delivery models, and represent FAMU on a global stage.

Why I’m Raising Funds:

While I am incredibly grateful that my program fees and flights are covered by the university, there are still significant costs associated with a transformative trip like this. As many of you know, I am a dedicated student and a full-time mom, and balancing my clinical studies with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity requires a bit of extra help.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

• Clinical Essentials & Travel Gear: Required items for international clinical shadowing.

• Daily Expenses: Meals and local transportation while in Seville.

• Family Support: Ensuring my household is taken care of while I am away focused on my studies.

My goal is to bring the knowledge I gain in Spain back to my community and my future career as a Doctor of Pharmacy. This isn’t just about a trip; it’s about becoming a more culturally competent and globally-aware healthcare provider.
