Hi friends! My name is Angie Kling and my 21-year-old nephew, Kiernen Hammer, was hit by a car early Sunday morning while he was walking down the road. The car just drove away and left him there on the side of the road.

He has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but thank goodness he is still with us. He will be unable to work for at least 6 months while he recovers from the surgeries that are on the horizon and will need help with living expenses and medical bills. This is a devastating blow to him and the family. If you are lucky enough to know him, you know what an intensely amazing person, a dedicated friend and living his dream as an incredible chef at a local Auburn restaurant. He's not one that likes being at a standstill, so he is going to need all the love and support he can get.

Every little bit will help him recover and get back on his feet.
