Hi, my name is Stacey Scott, and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Cindy’s son, Kieran Brown, who has been courageously battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for over 8 years.

Kieran was first diagnosed in 2017 at just 19 years old. What began as a small tumour quickly progressed to a large mass in his chest and several lymph nodes from his neck to his collarbone. With countless rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and even a stem cell transplant, they were able to completely remove the mass in his chest but small masses in his neck and collar bone remain.

Over the past 2 years, Kieran and his partner Alexis have been travelling to Vancouver every 3 weeks for Kieran to receive an immunotherapy drug. He was seeing great results and having little to no side effects but as this was only a trial, the treatment is coming to a close which leaves Kieran searching for a new treatment.

Doctors have now found a potential new treatment and are hopeful it could be step towards remission — but the cost of this next phase, including the treatment itself and related medical expenses, is beyond what his family can afford.
