My name is Kiera Hennings, and I am creating this fundraiser for myself and my two young children. On 8/19/2026, I was stabbed by my downstairs neighbor and her stepdaughter in front of my children, who are only 6 and 9 years old. I suffered very serious injuries, including a collapsed lung and liver damage, and I spent two weeks in the hospital fighting for my life. I am deeply grateful to still be here, but surviving this attack has changed everything for my family. Before this happened, I had already asked to be moved because I was worried about my safety, but that request was denied. Now, after everything we have been through, I have been forced to return to the same home where this violence happened, and we are living in fear every day.

I am currently out of work while recovering from my injuries and from two major surgeries. My children are also struggling after witnessing this traumatic attack, and they need therapy and support to begin healing. I am asking for help so I can move my family to a safer place, cover therapy costs for my children, and keep us afloat while I recover.
