Hi, my name is Lorena Soto and I am a first grade teacher. I am raising funds to help my students learn to read. Funds from this project will go to a quality literacy program in Spanish. My students have already shown great success with the first part of this program called Estrellita. They have surpassed it in record time. They are ready for the second part called Lunita. Lunita will teach the kids more complex consonant blends to help grow their literacy skills so that they may become readers.
