Hockey has always been Canada’s game — but for many families, the cost keeps their kids off the ice.
At Project Skate Hockey Club, we believe every child deserves the chance to play. That’s why we created a completely free Learn-to-Play program for low-income, newcomer, and racialized youth. We provide a full set of hockey equipment and 20 on-ice sessions designed to teach skills, build confidence, and most importantly — spark a love for the game.
Now, our first group of kids is ready to take the next step: joining a hockey league. They've worked hard, shown up early, stayed late, and fallen in love with a sport they never imagined was for them. But there’s just one thing standing in the way — the cost of registration.
We’re raising funds to help cover league fees so these amazing young players can keep skating, growing, and believing in themselves. With your help, we can break financial barriers and give these kids the opportunity they’ve earned.
