My name is Gianna Cipully and I'm a senior in high school. We are doing an independent project and we got to choose what we did for it. For my independent project I decided to do a fundraiser for Shriners children's Hospital in Greenville SC. This is intended to raise money to help the kids that are in need of orthopedic medical assistance and rehabilitation. Since I was little I've always had a passion for helping people, especially kids. On the playground in Elementary school, when someone would fall and hurt themselves, instead of joining the group of laughing kids, I would be the first person there to help in any way I could. Now that I have grown up I still have lots of love and care for children and want to work in the medical field as a pediatrician. After a few years of working here, where I live, I want to travel and help every kid that I can around the world. I feel that this project and doing this fundraiser will get me an early start to helping those kids in need.
