My cat Kida has been a part of our family since she was a tiny kitten, right after I graduated high school. Now, at 11.5 years old, she’s facing several health challenges that are making life difficult for her and heartbreaking for us to watch. Kida needs to be put under anesthesia to assess and possibly remove some bad teeth, get an x-ray of her injured hip, and may even need to have an eye removed. These issues are all connected and are causing her pain and discomfort every day.

Getting her teeth removed will help Kida live a healthier, happier life. The dental problems may even be the cause of her eye issue, since they’re on the same side. The x-ray of her hip is important to find out if it’s an injury or something more serious, like cancer. We just want to see her thrive again, instead of just getting by. Kida has always been a sweet, loving cat, and it’s so hard for our kids to see her feeling unwell. She means the world to us, and we want to do everything we can to help her feel better.
