I have been allowed to participate in the “National Youth Leadership Forum: Advanced Medicine and

Healthcare” program. The program carries a large cost that I cannot afford, so I’m asking for your help

so that I can begin my educational journey to becoming a Pediatric Oncologist.

Learning about the number of people that die of cancer each year was one of the biggest motivating

forces behind my decision to pursue a career in medicine. I want to dedicate my career to caring for

those people who have cancer. Participating in the National Youth Leadership Forum: Advanced

Medicine and Healthcare program would be the beginning of that dream. Getting the opportunity to

learn hands-on and gain real-world experience while still in High School would give me a head start in

my college aspirations.
