Hi, my name is Jake, I currently work for the NHS, unfortunately I am on dialysis for kidney failure, as much as I love my job, it doesn't fit around my treatments, so I wanted to go self employed, combining my passion for cleaning and cars, I am looking to raise enough capital to be able to purchase some equipment and a vehicle, and to pay my insurance and other related expenses, I believe that starting this business venture will greatly improve my mental and physical health, and would enable me to have a better balanced work/life ratio.

Dialysis takes up a fair amount of time, however I now do this at home, this gives me flexibility of the time that I have my treatments.

I would like to be able to buy a vehicle and fit it out with the equipment that I need, I do already own some items, however these are not designed for frequent use.

My goal is to get into the classic and show car markets, I would eventually like to have the use of an industrial unit, so that I can offer more services in the future, I would also like to be able to buy cars and restore them for resale, this would increase not only my profitability but also my market exposure.

I am planning on advertising at car shows, by having a stand/stall and completing a full detail, so that potential customers are able to see the quality and passion of my work, and be able to ask about services that I offer.

I believe that with hard work and dedication, I will be able to grow the business well, and in the future be able to have several employees, creating much needed job vacancies.
