As I diligently search for new opportunities and pursue my dream of becoming a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), the financial strain keeps piling up. In today's tough economy, affording essentials like childcare and rent has become a real challenge. The memory of our past eviction still weighs heavily on my heart, reminding me of our vulnerability.

However, my family is unable to provide the help we need, leaving us on the verge of homelessness once more. After facing eviction once already last summer, I have decided to put my pride to the side and seek out support from communities everywhere.
