We started with a couple of local volunteers gathering together to rescue stray/dumped cats and find homes for them or at least TNR. With more and more cats that we rescued, we registered the 501C3 non-profit and founded Cat Allies Project and have saved more than 300 cats for the past two years. We are doing our best to take care of all rescued cats ourselves but still need help when the medical bill is beyond what we can cover. In this case... Kiara is the one who needs help.

Kiara has severe URI and her nose and mouth are blocked with thick mucus that she is in hospitalization with intensive care and oxygen treatment to prolong her life. She either has a polyp or tumor under the throat that causes the extensive inflammation and mass mucus. We have already taken her to multiple different vets and conducted various antibiotic treatments, but she is not making progress. Her vitals went down significantly yesterday, and she couldn't breathe and eat, so we had to rush her to a specialty hospital this morning for a full body exam and surgery.

We know if we don't do that, she will die in our arms despite knowing the specialty hospital will be extremely expensive. The medical bill quote is from $5,600 to $14,500, and it is way over what we can afford. We are in urgent need so that we can get Kiara treated properly. She has been with us since she was born, and all her three siblings were adopted a while back. She is super friendly and sweet and always looking for cuddles. All we really want is to give her a chance to survive and live like a normal cat in a happy home.
