After a recent and unexpected battle with organ failure, Anne Marie Harper (49) passed away peacefully in her sleep on 9th January 2021. 

As well as dealing with the unexpected loss of his mother, Kian (20) has sole responsibility for arranging and financing his mother's funeral (cost ~£4000) which is made more difficult by the fact that his mother left no will.

As he is currently in full-time higher education and living alone with his younger brother, he is really going to struggle to get together enough money to pay for his mother's funeral.

I met Kian in September 2020 when we both started at university together. We soon became close friends. I was instantly drawn to him as he has such a vibrant, entertaining presence, and is ultimately a lovely and caring person.

My heart absolutely goes out to this fabulous, strong and incredible human being. If each of Kian's friends gave just £10 each, it would cover the cost of the funeral.
