Help Kiah Fight Lupus: A Mother’s Plea for Support

Life can change in an instant, and our family has been thrown into a whirlwind we never saw coming. Just a month ago, my beautiful, vibrant 14-year-old daughter, Kiah, was diagnosed with lupus. Since then, our lives have been consumed by urgent care visits, endless doctor’s appointments, emergency room stays, and now, a hospital admission for aggressive treatments to help her fight this disease. As a mother, watching Kiah endure this has been heartbreaking. She’s shown incredible strength, but the road ahead is long and uncertain. While I’ve done my best to focus solely on her health and well-being, the mounting medical expenses and time away from work are making this fight even harder.
