Help Khye through Brain Cancer
Donation protected

On Monday the 13th of September, our dear friend Khye was down at Noosa Main Beach with his beautiful little family Lauren, Tommy & Kobe when this heartbreaking journey began.
Khye (with no medical history) had multiple seizures on the sand, with immediate medical attention from Lauren, life guards & nurses thankfully nearby he was in good hands from the get go.
The paramedics arrived & rushed him to hospital where he was put on life support & into ICU.
Khye underwent testing only to find out there was a large tumor at the front of his brain.
He was booked in for brain surgery to remove it 2 weeks later at RBWH.
Khye & Lauren have recently been fronted with the news that he has a Stage 3 Oligodendroglioma Brain Tumour.
Khye will undergo radiation for the next 6 weeks based at Brisbane hospital & then onto 6 cycles of chemotherapy.
I & many others asked Lauren & Khye weeks ago if they wanted to start a gofund me page & it was a definite no, & still to this day it was a tough decision to give this the go ahead, but now that they have a treatment plan & a long road ahead we know they can’t do it alone.
Any support will help go towards managing the juggling act of week long treatment stints staying in Brisbane which is 1.5hr away from their family home, for Lauren, Khye & their two boys.
The main focus for his family now is getting Khye through cancer treatment. Any donation big or small is so greatly appreciated as it will reduce any financial stress.
Khye & Lauren are big parts of the Sunshine Coast community & will be forever humbled & grateful for any small donations.
Britt & Lani xoxo
A few words from Lauren -
Life gets busy especially with 2 young children 7 & 3yrs & this is something you never picture yourself being apart of.
Sitting in a waiting room awaiting unknown results. & in that split second our world changed, I don’t think I can ever explain the overwhelming feeling of shock I felt for Khye (a 35yr old young Father), for us & for our young family as we sat their stomaching how to get through the rest of the appointment & then share this news with our families.
Following on, taking everyday as it comes, we remain as positive as we can be & will fight this will everything we have.
Thank you for following our journey, & please know that we are ever so appreciative. ❤️
