I am starting this fundraiser for my mom, Khristina Walters, and my dad, Rob Walters. Our family is going through an incredibly hard time, and I’m asking for help as both of my parents face serious medical emergencies at the same time. My mom has been experiencing repeated mini strokes and has gone through multiple heart surgeries in hopes of stopping them, but those procedures have not been successful. Because of everything she is dealing with, she has been unable to work. My dad, who has been the main provider for our household through his commission-based job at Queen City Harley Davidson, then suffered a heart attack along with massive blood clots and a pulmonary embolism. He has been in the ICU, needed emergency surgery, was released, and then had to be taken back by ambulance the very next day for another surgery after the clots returned. He still has blood clots that won’t go away and is also dealing with other medical issues right now as well.

Right now, my dad is facing another procedure on Monday, and there is a strong possibility he will need to be transferred to a major hospital in another state for an intensive open-chest surgery. With both of my parents unable to work, the financial pressure is ongoing and overwhelming. Donations will help our family keep up with living expenses, day-to-day needs, hospitalization and medical-related costs, and travel for treatment while they recover.
