Hello, as most of you know, Khloe has been battling leukemia since June 2024. On April 21, she was in remission. In May, we took her in for a follow-up to be told there was a spot on her liver. After tests, it was confirmed to be cancerous. After lots of discussion, we have decided to do four weeks of medication and radiation. After that, we will go to Mayo in Minnesota to have some more tests done for them to hopefully surgically remove the remaining cancer. Khloe has private insurance that has no specialty care. We were paying out of pocket for the first three months. In October, we were able to get her on a disability of sorts insurance only. They pay around 50 percent. At this time, I am only able to make around $11,000 per year as with her dad's income, anything else would disqualify us for the insurance. We would never ask for help if it didn't involve the well-being of one of our babies. We have exhausted all savings and IRAs to get up to this point (thinking and praying we had beat it).
