This is my daughter, 13 year old khloe. In October of 2023 she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Since this diagnosis, Khloe has faced multiple grand mal seizures and emergency room visits and has had to take a plethora of medications that unfortunately have not helped combat her seizures.

We recently had an at home EEG study done and the results came back showing her specialist that her brain is going though 6 seizures an hour and due to the severity of these results, she is going to need surgery to have a “VNS therapy magnet” placed in her chest that has a lead that runs to her “Vagus nerve” to her brain. Through this path, the device sends electrical currents to help break up and greatly reduce the amount and the severity of the seizures.

I am a single father trying my best but we are already currently thousands of dollars behind in medical debt and that is not factoring in the upcoming surgery that she will be having on June 3. I am not happy to take this route and am highly appreciative of any assistance that anyone is able to give, even if it’s just sharing the cause. Khloe and I thank you for your kindness.
