Help Khiesha's Family Avoid Eviction Or Possibly A New Home!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Khiesha Durham, and I'm reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life.
Right now, my family and I are facing possible eviction from our home. We’re behind on rent and currently owe $6,110, which must be paid, i go back to court on September 18th. I've been doing everything I can, but we’ve reached a point where we truly need help.
I’m a mom to two kids. My son is 13 and my daughter is 6 and with school starting back soon, I’m doing everything I can to give them a sense of stability.
I want to be honest about our situation: I am married, but my husband is currently unemployed, and I’ve been the only one able to cover our basic needs. Unfortunately, I also lost food assistance due to my income being just over the limit, so I’ve had to cover all groceries out of pocket while keeping up with other bills.
I’ve also been battling depression, which has made everything heavier to carry. I accept full responsibility for falling behind, but I’m doing my best to get back on track—for myself and for my children.
If you can donate, no matter how small, your support will go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this would mean the world to us. if the judge rule for eviction , donations. will be used for a new home.
Thank you for reading and caring. From the bottom of my heart—thank you.
