Help Khedric Recover After a Tragic Car Accident.
Donation protected
On the morning of October 17, 2022, our brother Khedric was involved in a tragic hit-and-run car accident in Baton Rouge, La. He was taking an exit to get off the interstate when a white Ford F-150 merged, sideswiped into him, and forced him off the road. He lost control of his car and ultimately crashed into a wall, where his vehicle then caught on fire. He was trapped inside the burning vehicle, and if it wasn't for God and
the many witnesses that stopped to help pull him out, there is no telling how this may have ended. After arriving at the hospital, it was brought to our attention that my brother had to have surgery to get his foot amputated. During the accident, his foot got caught underneath the pedal, causing extensive damage while the bystanders were helping to remove him from the vehicle, ultimately leading to amputation. Among that is a long list of fractures to his ribs, legs and other injuries that are now being treated.
We are so grateful that he is still here with us, but there is now the long road of recovery and medical expenses that we have to deal with. Anything is appreciated to help Khedric on this long, new journey ahead of him. All proceeds will assist in helping with medical bills, his prosthetic foot and other household bills he has to upkeep since he is out of work at the time. Thank you to all who have prayed and continue to pray for our family in this time of need. Also, thank God and those great people who helped save my brother's life that morning.
