Hi, my name is Kevin!

I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for support in helping Madel, Kevin, and Khean, a family that has been facing immense challenges. Madel, originally from the Philippines, and Kevin, from Germany, have been together for over three years. Their story of love and resilience has been featured in a documentary in Germany, showcasing the strength and determination they share as a couple.

Madel is the loving mother of 17-year-old Khean, who was diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy as a toddler. He requires full-time medical attention and feeding every day. Madel has been working abroad in Singapore for 10+ years to provide for Khean's care while her family takes care of him back home.

Unfortunately, Khean recently experienced a heavy convulsion, leading to hypoxia, acute renal failure, and pneumonia. He is currently recovering, but complications arose after his intubation was removed. He choked on his saliva and now has water in his lungs, complicating his recovery further.

Madel and Kevin are now seeking to transfer Khean to a better hospital for specialized treatment, but the costs of the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) are substantial. We already reached costs of 140.000 pesos which is around 2245€ for the first week!

We are asking for your support to raise the necessary funds to provide Khean with the best possible care. Also for potential medication after the ICU and potential surgery . 

Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant impact on Khean's health and well-being.

Madel ist die liebevolle Mutter des 17-jährigen Khean, bei dem im Kleinkindalter eine schwere Zerebralparese diagnostiziert wurde. Er braucht jeden Tag medizinische Betreuung und Nahrung. Madel arbeitet seit über 10 Jahren im Ausland in Singapur, um für Khean zu sorgen, während sich ihre Familie zu Hause um ihn kümmert. Leider erlitt Khean vor kurzem einen schweren Krampfanfall, der zu Hypoxie, akutem Nierenversagen und Lungenentzündung führte. Zurzeit erholt er sich, aber nachdem seine Intubation entfernt wurde, traten Komplikationen auf.

Hola, me llamo Kevin. Hoy me dirijo a vosotros con una sincera petición de apoyo para ayudar a Madel, Kevin y Khean, una familia que se enfrenta a enormes dificultades. Madel, originaria de Filipinas, y Kevin, de Alemania, llevan juntos más de tres años. Madel es la cariñosa madre de Khean, de 17 años, a quien diagnosticaron parálisis cerebral grave cuando era pequeño. Necesita atención médica y alimentación a tiempo completo todos los días.
