Help Khandi Graduate and Start Her Hair Career

Khandi Oglesby’s steps have always been ordered by the Lord. While her four sisters chose traditional colleges, Khandi’s heart was set on hair design from a young age. She told us early on that she wanted to follow her passion, and she never wavered. In high school, she jumped at the chance to take cosmetology classes, and after graduation, she searched for the right place to continue her journey. When Keune Academy by 124 in Lawrenceville, Ga. visited her school, Khandi knew she’d found the perfect fit.

Now, Khandi is just weeks away from graduating with her certificate in hair design. She’s worked hard and shown true dedication, but the lost of funds has tried to deter her from reaching her dreams. As parents we’ve reached a point where we simply can’t cover the last of her educational fees out of pocket. Without this final payment, she won’t be able to graduate on August 15, 2025, or take her state boards. This is the last step before she can officially start her career as a Hair Designer—a dream she’s held onto for years.
